Algeria is a North African country with a Mediterranean coastline and a Saharan desert interior. Algeria is not a top diving destination, but there are still some good diving spots in the Mediterranean with a board spectrum of marine life below, including spot grouper, octopus, even hammer sharks. Also the Taza Marine Park is a protected area of crystal clear waters with some unusual wildlife such as dolphins and sea turtles. Moreover, most of the country lies in the Sahara desert, one can go trekking by camel through the desert or just simply look up and embrace the starry sky.
