The Netherlands is not a traditional dive destination, but indeed there are rivers, lakes and seas for diving. They might not have fantastic visibility and colourful reef fish around due to the murky water, yet lots of very interesting species and phenomenon can still be found underwater. For example, Oosterschelde Lake is a spawning area where different species leave the North Sea for a while to reproduce in this lake, like cuttlefish, squid or seahorses. You will have a chance to watch it close and personal.
